Jim Prokopiak, a licensed attorney, is running for the office of Prothonotary, the chief clerk and custodian of all civil court records in Bucks County. In addition to running his law practice, for the past eight years Jim has served as a Supervisor in Falls Township. He has worked to reduce taxes, increase government efficiency, increase jobs, and even reduced his own pay.
Through his efforts, over 1000 jobs were created at the former U.S. Steel site. Jim was appointed by Governor Rendell to serve on the local government advisory commission, and also served as a member of the over 10,000 population committee for the Pennsylvania Association for Township Supervisors.
Jim will use his experience and knowledge to bring change to the Prothonotary's office. He will make the Prothonotary's office more efficient and streamlined through the use of technology and hard work, and will implement policies that will make the prothonotary's office more user-friendly.
Jim Prokopiak is a resident of Levittown, Falls Township, where he lives with his wife, Gail and son.
