Debbie DeBlasio is one of Bucks County’s two incumbent Jury Commissioners. She is experienced with troubleshooting deferrals and other scheduling hurdles faced by residents. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in nursing from Trenton State College and is currently the office manager of anelectrical engineering company

DeBlasio believes the justice system is a co-equal branch of government and it is the one branch that is intended to be non-partisan. As both political parties are guaranteed a jury commissioner by current statute, they provide a non-partisan check on the influence of politics in the jury selection process. She would champion the restoration of the Jury Commissioner’s independence and the removal of the county commissioners’ influence over this function of the judiciary.
