KIRSCH FOR THE 29TH AND WHAT THIS MEANS FOR YOU

Brad Kirsch says, “I believe it is time for you to take back your government from the special interests who have obstructed our plans for Pennsylvania. I will work with Ed Rendell - - not against him - - to assure we return to the middle class programs that work for my neighbors in the 29th.”

Brad Kirsch is not just another pretty face … he will work with Ed Rendell to represent your interests in Harrisburg. Brad will support the programs that the majority of the voters in this district voted for. This election is about issues not personalities.

Ed Rendell told you of his proposed changes in the property tax structure and his plan to decrease burdensome property taxes; he told you that we needed a much-improved educational system to attract business to Pennsylvania. 62.5% of you committed your support for him!

This election is a simple matter – your present representative stands in the way of Ed Rendell and what you voted for! Even John Perzel, the Republican House leader, said, "Ed Rendell won honestly, fair and square, and my members were trying to deny that he did that.” (Source Associated Press, April 14, 2004).

BRAD HAS BUILT A RECORD OF PUBLIC SERVICE
Brad’s public service has included service as: Centennial School Director - Chairman Finance and Insurance Cost Containment Committees; Chief Negotiator for Union Contracts; Member, Middle Bucks Vo-Tech Council; Chairman Warminster Economic Development Commission; Secretary, Southwest Bucks Solid Waste Committee; Member, Warminster Township Budget Committee, Member, Executive Board Bucks County Democratic Committee.

BRAD ON THE RECORD:
“As I run for office I note that most of the legislators, including my opponent, consistently exaggerate their job credentials by promising things they don’t intend to do. They hide the actual record of their job performance behind innuendo and incomplete explanations of their legislative accomplishments.

Many years ago I overstated my qualifications on a resume. I can’t take that mistake back . I must constantly guard against exaggerating the facts. This I promise to continue to do.

Perhaps our present politicians’ need to hide their records and to overstate their qualifications is caused by believing they have to be all things to all people. I believe it is time to look closely at what is being accomplished and who will act in your behalf to move us forward.”
