BRAD ON THE NEEDS OF OUR COMMUNITY:
“Our community has real issues to confront and all we get is slick literature and lip service. The time for addressing our community's needs is long overdue!
- It is time for equitable taxes, health and educational programs that matter to the middle class, and a return
to moderate fiscal pay-as-we-go spending.
- It is time to return to sensible programs for the middle class; that made us the greatest nation on earth.
- I believe that somehow we forgot the value in caring about each other’s basic needs.
- We vote for a property tax reduction and find that our school property taxes keep going up without relief.
- I don’t like to be told the cost of living is being held steady and go into my local supermarket and find that
the price of hamburger has doubled in the last several months. These politicians must be crazy!
- I’m tired of watching building interests continue to build Mc Mansions and destroy our natural recourses
as they leave us to pay the costs of schools, roads and infrastructure.
- Many of us are coming close to losing what we have worked a lifetime to attain while the politicians give us
no hope of change.
- For years so-called conservatives said they would be responsible spenders. Now they have mortgaged my
grandchildren’s futures.
- I am seeking a meaningful victory so that I can go to Harrisburg with a mandate from the voters that makes
these cookie cutter politicians act on the issues that matter.
- Both parties are looking for a winning formula. I believe the winning formula is to speak about what the
people are feeling in their guts and force action on these issues.
- It is time to grant a new freedom to our voters as they grow through life. We should, if we do our
duty to the system, have freedom from the fear of losing our homes to higher taxes and freedom from fear of getting sick in our final years with no real help.”
